About CET

Combustion & Emissions Technologies, LLC (“CET”) has developed a patent-pending combustion enhancing catalyst, CETALYST™️, as the first step in the decarbonization of the hydrocarbon based power producing industry. 

CETALYST™️ can provide a significant cost-savings in terms of a Heat Rate Improvement (HRI) and fly ash beneficiation in coal-fueled electric generating units (EGUs). 

CETALYST™️ is safe for people and equipment, environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and easy to incorporate.

Laboratory and Pilot Plant Tested

  • Engineering and emissions testing to date demonstrate that CET's catalyst technology provides a Heat Rate Improvement (efficiency increase) and reduces the emissions of GHG and carbon particulate matter (PM) or Loss on Ignition (LOI).

Real Results & Benefits

  • CETALYST™️ provides a Heat Rate Improvement in two ways. It promotes the utilization of unburned carbon Particulate Matter (PM) reducing them up to 90% or more while simultaneously reducing the requirement for excess combustion air introduced for char and carbon monoxide reduction as well as temperature control. Heat Rate Improvement means significantly lower Green House Gas (GHG) emissions.
  • CETALYST™️ affords the EGU operators the opportunity to reduce costs associated with maintaining compliance with environmental requirements. These include current and future air and waste regulations for greenhouse gases, PM, criteria pollutants, and other coal combustion by-products such as fly ash.
